Polar_Axis = 33-34 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 24-32 µm
Apertures
Three colpora, alternated with three pseudocolpi, both colpus and pseudocolpus elliptic and long colpus, apex acute, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 5.0-6.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, colpal and pseudocolpal membrane psilate, costae_colpi present; Os: bow-shaped, constricted medially, lateral ends curved, lalongate, oral_costae absent(?)
Exine
Micro-reticulate, tectate, mur ± 0.5 µm, lumina <1.0 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the lobe (PV) ±2.0 µm
Remark
Rugulate-reticulate pollen of L. littorea has been differentiated from reticulate L. racemosa pollen (Thanikaimoni, G. 1987)
