Morphology
Symmetry and Form
Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colpororate; spheroidal ( E > P ) in equatorial_view; subtriangular (angulaperturate), in polar_view
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 15-21 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 17-24 µm
Apertures
Three colporora; Colpus elliptic, colpus apex obtuse, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices ±6.0 µm; costae_colpi present, the Oral complex is differentiated into os A and os B; os A is a broad ectexinal thinning (verify this character under LM) with a slight medial constriction with curved lateral ends, lalongate; Os B is elliptic, surrounded by an oral costa lolongate
Exine
Micro-reticulate, tectate, mur ±0.5 µm, lumina ±0.5 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±1.5 µm
Remark
A stenopalynous genus
Tentative Pollen Typification
Rubiaceae type X
