Polar_Axis = 43-65 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 38-54 µm

Four stephanocolpora, rarely 5 stephanocolpora, colpus apparently linear, relatively short and colpal apex obtuse, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices (14.0 & 17.0 µm), margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic, with lateral ends, lolongate, oral_costae thin(?)
Exine
Foveolate, fovea diameter ±0.5 µm, tectate, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±2.0 µm

Distribution of Species
Indo-Malaysia to Australia. Absent from Sri Lanka. Western Ghats: in all districts. Eastern Ghats: in the forests of Godavari and Vizagapatam to 1400m
