Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-(2-, 4-) colporate, spheroidal in equatorial_view, circular in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 42-47 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 37-42 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora, a few 2 syncolporate grains; Colpus broadly elliptic, but infolded in equatorial_view; colpus apex acute, aperture_membrane psilate, distance between the adjacent colpal apices ±6.0-8.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi absent; Os: elliptic lateral ends indistinct or masked by the colpal margins, lolongate, oral_costae absent.
Exine
Medium_reticulate, tectate, mur <1.0 µm, lumina <2.0 µm, infratectum distinctly columellate, exine thickness: at poles ±3.0 µm; at intercolpium ±2.5 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus.
Tentative Pollen Typification
Avicennia type.
