Morphology
Symmetry and Form
Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate; elliptic ( E > P ) in equatorial_view; circular in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 27-30 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 18-27 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora; Colpus elliptic, colpus apex acute, aperture_membrane psilate or feebly granular, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 5-6 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi absent or thin; Os: ovoid to ellipsoidal with curved lateral ends, lolongate oral_costae absent.
Exine
Psilate, SEM micrographs show the micro-striate nature, tectate, infratectum columellate, exine thickness: at poles at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±2.0 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus.
Tentative Pollen Typification
Bhesa type.
