Morphology

Symmetry and Form

Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate, elliptic ( E > P ) in equatorial_view, (sub)circular in polar_view.

Dimensions

Polar_Axis = 18-24 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 15-21 µm.

Apertures

Three colpora; Colpus: elliptic, constricted at the equator, colpus apex acute, a distance between the adjacent colpal apices 7.0-8.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, aperture_membrane psilate, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic (2.5 x 5.0 µm, lalongate, oral_costae absent.

Exine

Striato-reticulate, tectate, infratectum columellate, mur ±0.5 µm; lumina ±1.0 µm, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium <2.0 µm.

Remark

A stenopalynous genus [see Millogc-Rasolodimry, J.F. (1988)].

Euodia lunu-akenda type.
