Symmetry and Form
Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate, elliptic in equatorial_view; (sub)circular in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 40-50 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 30-43 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora; Colpus: elliptic, colpus apex obtuse, aperture_membrane granular, distance between the adjacent colpal apices ±4.0 µm, (pseudo-syncolpate due to flexure), margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic, lalongate, with wavy (or diffuse) lateral ends, oral_costae present.
Exine
Distinctly striato-reticulate, tectate, mur <1.0 µm, lumina <1.0 µm, infratectum columellate, exine thickness: at poles ±2.0 µm; at the mid-point of intercolpium ±2.0 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus.
Tentative Pollen Typification
Holigarna type.
