Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-(4-stephano-) colporate, elliptic in equatorial_view, circular to sublobed in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 19-25 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 17-27 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora; Colpus: elliptic, narrow and shorter than P axis, colpal apex acute, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 7.0-10.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic, lalongate, lateral ends curved, oral_costae present
Exine
Psilate, tectate, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium ±1.5 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus.

A medium-sized tree up to 1200m. Very common. Leaf illustration: Pascal, J-P. & Ramesh, B.R. (1987), fig. 260. Generic (Lansium Rumph.) and specific descriptions in Flora of Madras: p. 130 (Gamble, J.S., 1967).
