Monad, radial_symmetry, isopolar, 3-colporate, elliptic in equatorial_view, (sub)circular in polar_view.
Dimensions
Polar_Axis = 35-43 µm; Equatorial_Axis = 28-36 µm.
Apertures
Three colpora; Colpus: elliptic, colpus apex acute, distance between the adjacent colpal apices 9.0-12.0 µm, margo undifferentiated, aperture_membrane granular, costae_colpi present; Os: elliptic with curved lateral ends, lolongate, oral_costae absent.
Exine
Scabrate or granular, tectate, infratectum columellate, exine thickness at the mid-point of the intercolpium <2.0 µm.
Remark
A stenopalynous genus [see Presting, D., Straka, H. & Friederich, B. (1983)].
Tentative Pollen Typification
Rinorea type.

Westrn Peninsular India, Andaman Islands, Sri Lanka and Burma. Western Ghats: Malabar and Travancore.
