Description
The manuscript contains parts of a text of 259 palm leaves. The palm leaves are numbered from 12 to 24 and from 60 to 307; some are missing, or are broken and have no number. The leaves are more and less darkened by fungus infestation.
The text consists in a Tamil dictionary (akarāti).

12 முதல் 24 மற்றும் 60 முதல் 307 வரை எண் கொண்ட 259 ஓலைகளை உடைய நூல் இந்த சுவடியில் உள்ளது.சில ஓலைகள் காணப்படவில்லை அல்லது உடைந்தும் எண்கள் இல்லாமலும் உள்ளது.இந்நூலில் உள்ள ஓலைகள் பூஞ்சையால் கருமை அடைந்து உள்ளது.

Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 37,0cm x 3,6cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered in Tamil and Arab from 12 to 307. Some leaves are missing (22; 25-59; 221) and there are two leaves 192. The palm leaves are more and less damaged by larvae and by fungus.
The manuscript contains 259 palm leaves of 12 lines per leaf, with two wooden boards.

The manuscript belonged to Mohana Raj's grandfather, Vēlāyutaṉ vaittiyar (1887/1965), a siddha practitioner who was president of the association ATSVS and taught when the college was founded by the association. He paid copyists to write manuscripts borrowed from siddha practitioners and collected some from his peers.
