Description
The manuscript is composed of five texts dealing with medicine. Its state is excellent, slightly affected by fungus.
Text 1- The text, incomplete, is made of 5 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 6; the leaf numbered 4 is missing. Entitled Nūl Tokuppu, it describes the methods, drawing from texts which are mentioned, to diagnose diseases.
Text 2- The text, entitled Kuṭṭa Nitāṉam, contains 19 palm leaves; it is complete. It refers to skin diseases (kuṭṭam) which are described with their appropriate remedies. The types of kuṭṭam mentioned in this text are : kapāla kuṭṭam, kiṭipa kuṭtam, catāru kuṭtam, karuka kuṭṭam, parama kuṭṭam and kākanti kuṭṭam.
Text 3- The text is constituted of 3 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 3. The first leaf concerns the cat. The two others explain the preparation of Pirammi lēkiyam, Aṭaikāmaṇiyaṉ tailam and Uḷḷi tailam, as well as a medicine for a condition similar to purpura (ratta pittam).
Text 4- The text, entitled Caṉṉi Nitāṉam, contains 17 palm leaves numbered from 6 to 22. It is complete. It describes the types of delirium (caṉṉi) and provides the medicinal formulations to treat them. The types of caṉṉi which are mentioned are : kaṇṭa caṉṉi, karṇika caṉṉi, ciṅkuvai caṉṉi, cītāṅka caṉṉi, antaka caṉṉi, ruttira caṉṉi, pukṉanēttira caṉṉi, rattāṭippa caṉṉi, piṟalāpa caṉṉi and avaṉiyāca caṉṉi.
Text 5- The text, composed of 5 palm leaves, is incomplete. Entitled Caṉṉi Nūl, it focusses on a specific type of delirium called cittavippiramma caṉṉi.

இந்த சுவடி மருத்துவத்தை பற்றி கூறும் ஐந்து நூல்களை உடையது.இந்நூல் சிறிதளவு பூஞ்சையால் பாதிக்க பட்டு இருந்தாலும் இது மிகவும் நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ள ஒரு சுவடியாகும்.
நூல் 1- 1 முதல் 6 வரை எண் கொண்ட 5 ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு முழுமை இல்லா நூலாகும்.நாலாம் எண் கொண்ட ஓலை காணப்படவில்லை.நூல் தொகுப்பு என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல் நோய் கணிப்பு பற்றி பல்வேறு நூல் களில் இருந்து பெறப்பட்ட தகவல்களை பற்றி கூறுகிறது
நூல் 2- குட்ட நிதானம் என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல் 19 ஓலைகளை கொண்டது; இது முழுமையானது ஆகும்.இந்நூல் குட்ட நோய்கள் மற்றும் அவற்றுக்கான மருத்துவம் பற்றி கூறுகிறது.இந்நூலில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள குட்ட நோயின் வகைகள் : கபால குட்டம், கிடிப குட்டம், சதாரு குட்டம், கருக குட்டம், பரம குட்டம் மற்றும் காகந்தி குட்டம்.
நூல் 3- 1 முதல் 3 வரை எண் கொண்ட 3 ஓலைகளை உடையது.இந்நூலில் முதல் ஓலை பூனையை பற்றியும், மற்ற இரண்டு ஓலைகள் கீழ்கண்ட மருந்து செய்முறைகள் பற்றியும் விளக்குகிறது : பிரம்மி லேகியம், அடைக்காமணியன் தைலம், உள்ளி தைலம் மற்றும் ரத்த பித்தத்திற்கு மருந்து.
நூல் 4- சன்னி நிதானம் என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல் 6 முதல் 22 வரை எண் கொண்ட 17 ஓலைகளை கொண்டது; இது முழுமையானது ஆகும்.இந்நூல் சன்னியின் வகைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றிற்கான மருத்துவம் பற்றி கூறுகிறது.இந்நூலில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள சன்னியின் வகைகள் : கண்ட சன்னி, கர்ணிக சன்னி, சிங்குவை சன்னி, சீதாங்க சன்னி, அந்தகன்சன்னி, ருத்திரன் சன்னி, புக்னநேத்திரன் சன்னி, ரத்தாடிப்பன் சன்னி, பிரலாப சன்னி மற்றும் அவனியாச சன்னி
நூல் 5- 5 ஓலைகளை உடைய இந்நூல் ஒரு முழுமை இல்லா நூலாகும்.சன்னி நூல் என்ற தலைப்புடைய இந்த நூல் சித்த விப்பிரம்ம சன்னி என்ற சன்னியின் ஒருவகை பற்றி கூறுகிறது
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 42,3cm x 2,7cm. The palm leaves are numbered in Arab from 1 to 6 (Text1); 7 to 20 (Text 2); 21 to 23 (Text 3); 1 to 22 (Text 4); and 1 to 3 (Text 5). A blank leaf is placed at the beginning. The manuscript is in excellent condition, slightly affected by fungus.
The manuscript contains 46 palm leaves of 8 lines per leaf (text 1,2 and 3) and of 12-14 lines per leaf (text 3 and 4), with two wooden boards.

The manuscript belonged to Mohana Raj's grandfather, Vēlāyutaṉ vaittiyar (1887/1965), a siddha practitioner who was president of the association ATSVS and taught when the college was founded by the association. He paid copyists to write manuscripts borrowed from siddha practitioners and collected some from his peers.
