Description
The manuscript is composed of a text which contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 59; it is incomplete. Some leaves are broken and very darkened.

The text, written in verses, is entitled Vaicūri Mālai. It concerns exanthematous fevers (vaicūri) that it describes with their appropriate medicinal formulations. The types it mentions are those caused by derangement (cārntu) of vāta, pitta and kapa, as well as maṇṭali, paṭar tāmarai, maṇalvāri, cappaṭṭai, aṇali, ceṅkāmāri, pokkaṉ, utira maṇṭali, aratta maṇṭali, retta maṇṭali, uṇakka cappaṭṭai, ūtu cappaṭṭai, karuñcappaṭṭai, arici kallutiri, karuṭa muccuruvi, veḷutta muccuruvi, aṇali maṇalvāri, ciṟu maṇṇaṉ, cori maṇṇaṉ, aṭukkalai kuru and vaicūri curam.

1 முதல் 59 வரை எண் கொண்ட ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு நூலை கொண்டதாகும் இந்த சுவடி.இது ஒரு முழுமை இல்லா நூலாகும்.சில ஓலைகள் உடைந்தும் கருமை அடைந்தும் உள்ளன.
வைசூரி மாலை என்னும் இந்நூல் விருத்தம் வடிவில் எழுதப்பட்டதாகும்.இந்நூல் வைசூரி நோய்களின் விளக்கம் மற்றும் அதற்கான மருந்து செய்முறைகளை பற்றி விளக்குகிறது.இதன் வகையாக இந்நூலில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளவை : வாதத்தை சார்ந்து வரும் வைசூரி, பித்தத்தை சார்ந்து வரும் வைசூரி, சிலேற்பனத்தை சார்ந்து வரும் வைசூரி, மண்டலி, படர் தாமரை, மணல்வாரி, சப்பட்டை, அணலி, செங்காமாரி, பொக்கன், உதிர மண்டலி, அரத்த மண்டலி, ரெத்த மண்டலி, உணக்க சப்பட்டை, ஊது சப்பட்டை, கருஞ் சப்பட்டை, அரிசி கல்லுதிரி, கருட முச்சுருவி, வெளுத்த முச்சுருவி, அணலி மணல்வாரி, சிறு மன்னன், சொறி மன்னன், அடுக்கலை குரு மற்றும் வைசூரி சுரம்
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 28,5cm x 3,5cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 59 in Tamil and Arab. The palm leaves are darkened, some very affected by fungus infestation. A few leaves are broken.
The manuscript contains 59 palm leaves of 14-16 lines per leaf, with two wooden boards.
