Description
The manuscript is composed of a text containing 11 palm leaves numbered from 304 to 314; it is complete. The manuscript is in good condition; the first four leaves are slightly damaged by strings of insect’s eggs and a few are darkened by fungus.
The text, entitled Taca Vāyu Cūttiram, describes the flow channels, functions and characters of ten types of energy flow of the primordial element ‘air’ (taca vāyu) : pirāṇaṉ, apāṉaṉ, camāṉaṉ, utāṉaṉ, viyāṉaṉ, kūrmaṉ, nākaṉ, kirukaraṉ, tēvātattaṉ and taṉañceyaṉ.

304 முதல் 314 வரை எண் கொண்ட 11 ஓலைகளை கொண்ட ஒரு நூலை உடையது இந்த சுவடி; இது முழுமையானது.இந்த சுவடி நல்ல நிலையில் உள்ளது; முதல் நான்கு ஓலைகள் பூச்சியால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டும் மற்றும் சில ஓலைகள் பூஞ்சையால் கருமை நிறம் அடைந்தும் உள்ளன.
தச வாயு சூத்திரம் என்னும் தலைப்புடைய இந்நூல் தசவாயுவின் மார்க்கம், தொழில், அவற்றின் குணம் பற்றி விளக்குகிறது : பிராணன், அபானன், சமானன், உதானன், வியானன், கூர்மன், நாகன், கிருகரன், தேவதத்தன் மற்றும் தனஞ்செயன்
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 41,7cm x 3,0cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 304 to 314 in Arab. The manuscript is in good condition; the four first leaves are slightly damaged by strings of insect’s eggs and a few are darkened by fungus.
The manuscript contains 11 palm leaves of 12 lines per leaf. It has no wooden boards.

The manuscript belonged to Mohana Raj's grandfather, Vēlāyutaṉ vaittiyar (1887/1965), a siddha practitioner who was president of the association ATSVS and taught when the college was founded by the association. He paid copyists to write manuscripts borrowed from siddha practitioners and collected some from his peers.
