Description
The manuscript is composed of a text whose the palm leaves are numbered from 2 to 197; the leaves 69, 175, 195 and 196 are missing. The manuscript is is bad condition as many leaves were biten by rodents. The text, written in verses, explains the purification process of various inorganic ingredients used in siddha pharmacopeia such as mercury, sulphur, arsenic trisulphide, arsenic pentasulphide, cinnabar, zinc, fullers’ earth, copper, iron, silver, mica, and drose iron. It details the process of preparation of the following remedies : Miruta cañcīvi, Caṉṉi, Vāta cūraṇam, Vāta valalam, Iraca mirutankiracam, Tālocam, Māmekairacam, Comaromairacam, Rājacekarairacam, Vityāta iracam, Kuṉmakutori pills, Curam ālikai pills, Cukanta iracam. This text explains the method to prepare some decoctions notably Pañcamūlam, diverse cūraṇam among which Kummaṭṭi cūraṇam, various paṟpam such as Tuttanākam paṟpam, Tālaka paṟpam, Vaṅka paṟpam and Iraca paṟpam, a few centūram (Iraca centūram and Apiraka centūram) and some pills (kuḷikai). It mentions ingredients for making medicated oils and clarified butter (tailam, kirutam) as well as collyrium.

2 முதல் 197 வரை எண் கொண்ட ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு நூலை கொண்டது இந்த சுவடி; 69, 175, 195 மற்றும் 196 உள்ள ஓலைகள் காணப்படவில்லை.இந்த சுவடியின் நிறைய ஓலைகளை எலி கடித்து உள்ளதால் இது மிகவும் மோசமான நிலையில் உள்ளது.விருத்தம் வடிவில் உள்ள இந்த நூல், சித்த மருந்துகளின் செய்முறையில் பயன்படும் பல்வேறு தாது பொருட்களின் சுத்தி முறைகள் பற்றி விளக்குகிறது, அவை ரசம், கந்தகம், தாளகம், வெள்ளை பாடாணம், லிங்கம், துத்த நாகம், வழலை, தாமிரம், இரும்பு, வெள்ளி, அப்ரகம் மற்றும் மண்டூரம் ஆகும்.மேலும் மிருத சஞ்சீவி,சன்னி வாத சூரணம், வட வாளலம், ராசமிருதாங்கிரசம், தாலோசம், மாமேகரசம், சோமரோமரசம், ராஜசேகர ரசம்,வித்தியாதா ரசம், குன்மகுடோலி மாத்திரை, சுரமாலிகை மாத்திரை, சுகந்த ரசம்,பஞ்சமூல கஷாயம் போன்ற மருந்துகள் நெய் வகைகள், தைலம், கொம்மட்டி சூரணம், அஞ்சனங்கள், துத்தனாக பஸ்பம், தாளக பற்பம், வங்க பற்பம், அப்ரக பற்பம், ரச பற்பம், ரச செந்தூரம் பலவகை சூரணங்கள், மாத்திரைகள், குளிகைகள், கஷாயங்கள், இருமல் போன்ற பல்வேறு நோய்க்கான மருந்துகள் மற்றும் பலவகை செந்தூரம் செய்முறைகள் விரிவாக கூறபட்டுள்ளது

Size of the manuscript : 36.6cm x 3.3cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 2 to 197; the leaves 69, 175 and 195-196 are missing. The manuscript is is bad condition as many leaves were biten by rodents.
The manuscript contains 192 leaves of 12 to 14 lines per leaf; it has only one wooden board.
