Description
The manuscript is composed of a text constituted of 106 palm leaves. The manuscript informs that the text contains 1200 verses, but only 1151 verses are exposed. The condition of the manuscript is average. The leaves 1 and from 101 to 106 are very damaged by larvae and the others are more and less darkened by fungus infestation and/or affected by larvae.
The text focuses on medicinal formulations :
Dry plant powders : Acuvakanti cūraṇam, Kaṇṭātirika cūraṇam, Cupavāti cūraṇam, Tirāṭcāti cūraṇam, Ciṅkāti cūraṇam, Kentaka cūraṇam, Tapāvaṉa cūraṇam and Cantanāti cūraṇam.
Medicated oils : Makā nārāyaṇi tailam, Laku pūtikā tailam, Piruṅkāmala tailam and Pūnāka tailam.
Lozenges : Kentaka vaṭakam, Kāṅkaya vaṭakam, Ceviya vaṭakam, Vaiṭūrāca nāti vaṭakam and Amuca maṇṭūka vaṭakam.
Electuary : Covākya cuṇṭi.
Pills : Pūpati cintāmaṇi māttirai, Pūrṇa cantirōtayam māttirai, Kastūri māttirai and Makā caṉṉi pāta vairavaṉ.

இந்த சுவடி 106 ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு நூலை கொண்டதாகும்.இந்நூலில் 1200 விருத்தங்கள் உள்ளன என்று கூறப்பட்டு இருப்பினும், 1151 விருத்தங்கள் மட்டுமே காணப்படுகின்றன.இந்த சுவடி நடுநிலைமையில் உள்ளது.ஓலை எண் 1 மற்றும் 101 முதல் 106 வரை உள்ள ஓலைகள் பூச்சியால் மிகவும் பாதிக்க பட்டு உள்ளன மற்ற ஓலைகள் பூஞ்சையால் கருமை நிறம் அடைந்தும் பூச்சியால் அரிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளன.
இந்நூல் மருந்து செய்முறைகளை பற்றி விளக்குகிறது.அவை :
சூரணம் : அசுவகந்தி சூரணம், கண்டாதிரிக சூரணம், சுபவாதி சூரணம், திராட்சாதி சூரணம், சிங்காதி சூரணம், கெந்தக சூரணம், தபாவன சூரணம் மற்றும் சந்தனாதி சூரணம்
தைலம் : மகா நாராயணி தைலம், லகு பூதிகா தைலம், பிருங்காமல தைலம் மற்றும் பூநாக தைலம்
வடகம் : கந்தக வடகம், காங்கய வடகம், செவிய வடகம், வைடூராச நாடி வடகம் மற்றும் அமுச மண்டூக வடகம்
லேகியம் : சௌபாக்ய சுண்டி
குளிகை : பூபதி சிந்தாமணி மாத்திரை, பூர்ண சந்திரோதயம் மாத்திரை, கஸ்தூரி மாத்திரை மற்றும் மகா சன்னி பாத பைரவன்
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 38,0cm x 3,4cm. The text is composed of palm leaves numbered from 1 to 106. The manuscript is in average condition. The first and five last leaves are very damaged and the leaves are more and less affected by larvae, and darkened by fungus.
The manuscript contains 106 leaves of 16 to 18 lines. It has no wood boards.
