Description
The manuscript is composed of a single text containing 9 palm leaves coming from diverse manuscripts. A small part of the manuscript has been bitten by rodents; some leaves are slightly affected by larvae.
The text, written in verses, presents some formulations of medicines with the required quantity of raw material. The formulations concern Racāyaṇa cūraṇam, Citta mōli tailam, Cēṅkkoṭṭai lēkiyam, Kariyuppu kaṭṭu and Kariyuppu cuṇṇam, as well as medicines (not named) for treating diseases of skull (kapāla cūlai), colic pain due to derangement of pitta (pitta cūlai), urinary tract infection (nīr mēkam) and hyperpigmented patch (caṉṉa karuppu), and a medicated oil (tailam) for treating scabies (ciraṅku).

பல சுவடிகளில் உள்ள ஓலைகளின் தொகுப்பான 9 ஓலைகளை உடைய ஒரு நூலை கொண்டதாகும் இந்த சுவடி.இதன் சிறு பகுதி எலியால் கட்டிக்க பட்டும், சில ஓலைகள் பூச்சியால் பாதிக்க பட்டும் உள்ளது
விருத்தம் வடிவில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ள இந்நூல் மருந்து செய்முறைகள் அவற்றில் சேரும் சரக்குகளின் அளவுகளோடு விளக்குகிறது.மருந்துகளின் பெயர்கள் ரசாயண சூரணம், சித்த மூலி தைலம், சேங்க்கொட்டை லேகியம், கறியுப்பு கட்டு மற்றும் கறியுப்பு சுண்ணம் மற்றும் கபால சூலை, பித்த சூலை, நீர் மேகம், சன்ன கருப்பு போன்ற நோய் நிலைகளுக்கு மருந்தும் சிரங்குக்கு தைலமும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது
Extent and Format of Original Material
Size of the manuscript : 27,5cm x 3,8cm. The 9 palm leaves of the manuscript come from diverse texts. There are two blank leaves placed at the begining and the end of the manuscript. A small part of the manuscript has been bitten by rodents; some leaves are slightly affected by larvae.
The manuscript contains 11 leaves of 16-20 lines. It has no wood boards.
