Prāyaścittasamuccaya

This transcript has been copied from a MS No. R 16806 belonging to the GOML, Madras, which is a copy of a MS belonging to Kunnakkudi Mutt. Though the caption of this transcript is vijayottarasaṃhitā, it also contains the (present) 1 [prāyaścittasamuccaya], 2 [utsavavidhi], 3 aghora[sthāpana (pratiṣṭhāvidhi)], 4 vighneśotsava, 5 aṣṭabandhanavidhi, 6 parivārasthāpana, 7 aṣṭabandhanavidhi, 8 [mahotsavavidhi], 9 śivotsavavidhi and 10 dīkṣāvidhi. Along with these the bundle contains some vidhi-s from the vijayottarasaṃhitā. The present text [prāyaścittavidhi] is lacking both the beginning and the end. The name of the author of this text is not mentioned. There are two pages of the contents at the beginning of the text. At the beginning of this text named prāyaścittasamuccaya the caption has been given as vijayottarasaṃhitā which seems to be wrong. The manuscript is damaged and it ends around 720 verses out of 826. There is an extra pagination after 197 as `197a
