There is an extra page at the beginning which records the title of this text, the source of this transcript and the name of the copyist. Page 303 gives a brief account (written in Tamil) of the total number of folios in the palm-leaf manuscript (from which this is copied) and the total number of verses in each pāda (jñāna, kriyā, yoga and caryā) of this text

Page - 1, l - 1; hariḥ oṃ śubham astu। śuklāṃbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ śaśivarṇaṃ caturbhujam । prasannavadanaṃ dhyāyet sarvavighnopaśāntaye ॥ śubham astu gururbrahmā gururviṣṇu- rgururdevo maheśvaraḥ । gurureva paraṃ brahma tasmai śrīgurave namaḥ ॥ paramagurubhyo namaḥ । sarvatāri nāma saṃvatsaramum kṛttikā māsamum kṛṣṇapakṣam tvitīyaiyum pānuvāsamum mṛkacīrṣanakṣatramum kūṭiṉa cupayoka cupatiṉattil ārampiccu eḻutiṉeṉ sittāntasārāvaLi vyākyānam cupam astu । śrīsuprahmaṇyasvāmisahāyam। civasahāyam । siddhāntasārāvalī - savyākhyā - `otaṃ yena jagat' otaṃyenajagaccarācaramidaṃ protaṃ ca sarvaṃ sadā cyotante paśavopi pāśa nikarādyasya prasādena tat । omityādi manūcyaradhva nigataṃ jyotiṣmatāṃ dyotakaṃ vyomavyāpi parāṃ śivākhyamakalaṃ jyotiḥ prapadyedhiyā ॥
