Copied from a MS belonging to the Adyar Library, Madras, No. 587 - 1 (38.c.20). On the title page (unnumbered) the text is tittled as sūtratattvavimarśinī and written by one Lakṣmaṇa and it contains only 1st sampuṭa. However the last line of the present text in the page of 136 informs the dīkṣāpaddhati is complete. There is an extra pages at the beginning of the text that contains the list of the contents
