This gives a Sanskrit text called the āśaucaśataka with a Tamil gloss. The commentary of the sloka-s is in Tamil, but written in devanāgarī script. In the margin on p. 18 āśaucadaśaka is written, but the title of the bundle is āśaucaśataka. A note on the cover of the box records that this text has been copied from a MS belonging to the French Institute of Pondicherry, said to be No. L74, but the RE number of the MS is not recorded

Page - 1, l - 1; śrīgurubhyo namaḥ॥ ॥ hariḥ om॥ agajānana padmārkaṃ gajānanam aharniśaṃ anekadaṃ taṃ bhaktānāṃ ekadantam upāsmahe॥ sauramāsi tithidvaya sambhavavidhiḥ। sauramāse tithidvayasaṃbhave māsikābdhikayoḥ parā tithigrāhyā। yathāha bṛhaspatiḥ। māse saṃvatsare caiva tithidvayaṃ yathā bhavet। tantrāntarokta māntreyaḥ pūrvāttu malimluceti॥
