This text lays down the process for performing ādyaśrāddha, the first śrāddha ceremony to be performed for the departed soul, that is, on the eleventh day. The portin underlined on the right end of fol. 3a, mentions the invocation of the dead body in the fire before the ceremony is begun. However, the words ekādaśe'hani (fol. 3a 1.1) suggest that this underlined passage does from part of the treatment of this topic. NCC. II p. 89 refers to this title
