Miscellaneous Notes
This name pañjara is given to some forms of prayers which refer to the formation of a cage in the form of mantra-s or words referring to the inaccessibility of the interior of the cage from all directions. The aspirant, once he gets within this by reciting this, is safe, well guarded, as he is, always by the deity glorified in the prayers. Here the cage is formed by the prayers (tantric) in praise of kārtavīryārjuna.
