Miscellaneous Notes

This text deals with the mantra-s used for the worship of the nine enclosures in the paraśurāmakalpasūtra. The mantra-s, which are to be used with reference to the deities in each enclosure, are given here. Relating to the navāvaraṇapūjā, method of outer worship and inner worship and other details, see śrīcakra by S. Sankaranarayanan, "Srī Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry 1973. In the text under description, 34 mantra-s are given relating to mūlādhāra, 26 to svādhiṣṭhāna, 35 to maṇipūra, 27 to hṛdaya, 36 to viśuddha and 33 to bhrūmadhya respectively. On the whole, there are 192 mantra-s. This portion of the text is the same as the śuddhaśaktinamontamālā which is a part of śrīvidyākhaḍgamālā. Normally, this is just for recitation (pārāyaṇa) when the names are recited in vocativ case, and it is for pūjā when they are recited with dative case. Writing is on 3 columns
