This stotra in praise of śiva is given in the colophon as being the 94th chapter of the dailogue between bhadrayus and nandikeśvara (which corresponds to the brahmottara khaṇḍa) in the skandapurāṇa; it is found in chapter 12 of the printed edition (venkateswara Steam Press, Bombay 1916). At the beginning 20 leaves are missing
