It is learnt from the colophon on fol. 43a that this forms a chapter of the vimalāgama: this name is that of the 18th mūlāfama but is also given to two upāgama-s, one of which belongs to the mūlāgama called vimalāgama and the other to the vijayāgama, which is the 11th mūlāgama. Incomplete Mss. of the vimalāgama are available but it is hardly possible to decide to which of the 3 vimalāgama-s they are related. The chatper describes varieties of pañcākṣara-s such as haṃsapañcākṣara, ātmapañcākṣara, mārapañcākṣara, etc
