This text deals with yātrāhoma during renovation which is to be performed when the kumbha in which the kalāśakti of the deity infused in the consecrated water is to be taken from the mūlasthāna to the yāgaśālā. Since this ritual is connected with the taking of the kumbha in a procession from the sanctorum, it is called yātrāhoma
