This text contains many songs of teevāram (of the 3 saints). It is written on the margin of fol. 1Ba that the songs were imparted to sage śivālaya by the sage Agastya. The rāg-s in which theteevāram songs are sung are also written in the margins. Selections from the entire teevāram are made here with reference to certain śiva shrines sung by the 3 saints.
