This is a stotra adressed to the sun, which according to the title, should contain 100 names of the sun; but there are only 41 names in the text under notice. The title is given as sūryanārāyaṇāṣṭottaraśataka in the margin of fol. 71a, but the text is the same as sūryāṣṭottaraśatanāmastotra, which forms part of āraṇyaparvan ch. 3 of the mahābhārata
