Miscellaneous Notes
Sahasratantra, which is also known as sahasrāgama, is the 8th śaiv mūlāgama. The text under notice contains Aṣṭabandhanavidhi, in the kriyāpāda (vide:- colophon on fol. 61a). All the leaves are moth-eaten and highly damaged. The numbering of the fols. is in utter disorder. As most of the leaves are very brittle, it is difficult to make out the contents. Though the colophon is there on fol. 61a, the leaves beyond this contain also tratment of śaivāgama topics. Liṅgabheda, agnikārya, āvaraṇapūjā and vāstuhoma are found to have been dealt with. A leaf or 2 contain a little about bodhāyana's prayoga
