This text forms part, according to the colophon of the kāraṇāgama but there is no agreement between the two. Perhaps, this is an abridged version of the consecration and installation of the bālālaya, based upon the contents of chapter 135 of the kāraṇāgama (pūrva) (CP)

atha vakṣye viśeṣeṇa bālasthāpanam uttamam। pūrvavat। adhivāsanañca kartavyaṃ sāṅgantu samprapūjayet। śubhagṛhaṃ praviśyātha prāṇāyāmapurassaram॥ saṅkalpapūrvaṃ puṇyāhaṃ sāmānyārghyañca kalpayet।

jayārthī jayamāpnoti mokṣārthī mokṣamāpnuyāt। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre kriyāpāde bālasthāpanavidhipaṭalaḥ। ve raṅgācāriyar svahastalikhitam।
