Miscellaneous Notes

This stotra, in praise of tyāgarāja, the presiding deity of tiruvarur consists of 8 verses. This has been published in stotrārṇava GOMS. 70, p. 104. The last verse in the printed edition which is like a phalaśruti is not found in this text. Fol. 9a contains 2 lines from a Telugu kīrtana in the rāg kalyāṇi and set to āditāla; fol.b contains a prayer; fol. 10 contains a line from a Telugu song. There is an unnumbered and damaged leaf between fol. 10a and 11. Fol. 11 contains a folk-song in Tamil mentioning some important holy places like madurai, srīraṅgam etc
