This is a stotra in praise of śiva who is considered as a relative on the way for those who undertake a journey. This is the work of appayadīkṣita in five śloka-s. The printed edn. (jayamaṅgalastotra, part 1, pp. 35-38) has all these śloka-s and some more śloka-s which are not found in this text

b(ph)ālāvanamratkirīṭaṃ phālanetrārciṣā dagdhapañceṣukīṭam। śūlāhatārātikūṭaṃ śuddhamardhenducūḍaṃ bhaje mārgabandhum। śambho mahādeva deva śiva śambho mahādeva devaśa śambho śambho mahādeva deva।1।
