Miscellaneous Notes
This stotra in praise of śiva at the temple on the hill called parvatamalai (near tiruvannamalai, North Arcot) is a rare work. That temple is very old and it is sung in the sangam Tamil Literature, viz. Pattuppāṭṭu. On fol. 1b there is mention of one Appayyādhvarin. It is not known Whether he is the author of this stotra. Totally there are 105 verse. 3 verses of them are in praise of naṭarāja added at the end

kundendudhavalākāraṃ sundarāsyamumāpatim। candralekhāvataṃsaṃ tvāṃ vande sarvārthasiddhaye॥ prācīnadeśikaguruṃ paripūrṇamicchājñānakriyānijaśaktiyutaṃ prasannam। tvānnaumi tena sakalāvikasūkti mūlasekāt phalanti tarugulmatopaśākhāḥ।1।
