rakṣābandhanakarme oṃ kārttikeyādhunā śṛṇu। vinyasya vāruṇaṃ kumbhaṃ tatsukhaṃ japamācaret॥ homānte tanmantrataḥ kṛtvā rakṣā'suddhiṃ samācaret। rakṣāṅguṣṭhānāmikābhyāṃ tu vāmahastasya de'sikaḥ rakṣāmūlantu saṃgrhya bhasmanā mārjaye (āmācaret।
