This text contains the stotra of vināyaka. It is called by the name mūṣikavāhanastotra, the mouse (mūṣika) being the vehicle of vināyaka. It cannot be traced to the brahmāṇḍapurāṇa which is its source according to the colophon. Some śloka-s are given in this text in the form of nāmāvali. Fols.1a-8a contian the names of yuga, years, months, nakṣatra, rāśi etc. which are meant for the beginners who seek to acquire the rudiments of astrology

oṃ śuklāmbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ śaśivarṇañ caturbhujam। prasannavadanan dhyāyet sarvavighnopaśāntaye॥ mūṣikavāhana modakahasta cāmarakarṇa vilambitasūtra। vāmanarūpa maheśvaraputra। vighnavināyakapāda namaste॥1॥
