Manuscript Beginning
sudar'sanākhyāṃ yaś cakraṃ labdhavān tat kathaṃ bhavet। mahādevāt bhagavataḥ sūta no vaktum arhasi। sūtaḥ: devāsurāṇāṃ abhavat saṅgrāmo'dbhutadarśanaḥ। devāś ca nihatā daityā[daityaiḥ?] viṣṇuṃ śaraṇam āgatāḥ। stutvā taṃ vividhaiḥ stotraiḥ praṇamya puratas sthitāḥ। bhayabhītāś ca te sarve kṣatāṅgāḥ kleśitā bhṛśam। tān dṛṣṭvā prāha bhagavān devadevo janārdanaḥ।

parāntarthiguruvyāptā śucir āśritavatsalaḥ। raso rasajñās sārajñā[aḥ] sarvatattvāvalambanaḥ। ekanāmasahasreṇa duṣṭayā(?) girijāpatiḥ। sampūjyā[jya] varadā bhaktyā puṇḍarīkadvijottamaḥ। hariḥ om। śubham astu।
