This text contains the introductory and the phalaśruti portion of the text which is popularly called lalitātriśatī forming part of the brahmāṇḍapurāṇa (uttarabhāga) which is termed in the colophon of this text as brahmottarakhaṇḍa. It has three copies here of which each seems to be forming part of different bundled. : 1. fols. 1a-16a; 2. 18a-38a and 3. 39a-54a
Manuscript Beginning
om agastya uvāca। hayagrīva dayāsindho bhagavan bhaktavatsala। tvattaś śrutam aśeṣeṇa śrotavyaṃ yadyad asti tat। rahasyanāmasāhasram api tvattaś śrutaṃ mayā। itaḥ paraṃ me nāstyeva śrotavyam iti niścayaḥ। tathāpi mama cittasya paryāptir naiva jāyate।
Manuscript Ending
stotreṇānena lalitāṃ stutvā tripurasundarīm। ānandalaharīmagnamānasas samavartata। iti śrībrahmottarakhaṇḍe śrīlalitopakhyāne stotrakhaṇḍe hayagrīvāgastyasaṃvāde devīnāma.......[śatatraya?] upadeśan nāma pañcavimśo'dhyāyaḥ।
