Miscellaneous Notes
This Ms. contains 30 paṭala-s of the aṃśumadbhedakāśyapa, an upāgama of the aṃśumadāgama. All the paṭala-s deal with iconography and architecture. This text is partly in Tamil. Most of the Tamil portions paraphrase what is said in Sanskrit. The first paṭala is numbered 52 and the last, 81. The 50th paṭala is given after the 52nd and nos. 51 and 53 are omitted. The 66th paṭala may be the one numbered 68 on fol. 96b. The colophons found on fols. 106b and 107b, do not mention the paṭala numbered but they may be the 68th and the 69th respectively. The text breaks off at the beginning of the kalkavidhāna and hence it is incomplete

śuklāmbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ śaśivarṇañ caturbhujam। prasannavadanan dhyāyet sarvavighnopaśāntaye। mahāgaṇapataye namaḥ। sarasvatyai namaḥ। atha vakṣye viśeṣeṇa piṇḍikānān tu lakṣaṇam। pīṭhaṃ lakṣaṇaṃ collappaṭā niṉṟatu। liṅgānān nāgarādīnāṃ pīṭhalakṣaṇam ucyate।
