This text gives the procedure for worshipping [īśa and] gaurī with kuṅkuma (safflower). This text is almost similar to the text found in the printed book of the pūrva kāraṇāgama. The present text ends with the statement : kuṃkumasyāreanaṃ proktaṃ māsapūjāvidhiṃ śṛṇu। iti kāraṇe pratiṣṭhātantre kuṅkumapūjāvidhipaṭalaḥ॥ while the printed text kuṃkumasyārcanaṃ proktaṃ gandhapūjāvidhiṃ sṛuṇu। iti kuṃkumapūjāvidhi paṭalaḥ pañcadaśottaraśatatamaḥ॥
