Before the starting of the text there is a passage deals with aṣṭabandhanāntaṃ devatānujñā, which may be pentaining to this text as it begins with introduction of mahāmani, that read: mānāsureṇa balinā pīḍyante ca jagat traye mārasuravadhaṃ jñeya mahāmārīti namataḥ॥

Fol - 42b, l - 1; mahāmārīdhyānam। trinetraṃ caturbhuja śāntā karālavadanā nityā। jvālordhva keśinī raktā kalpālaṃ khaṭgapāśinī। damaruṃ dhāryate caiva padmapīṭhopānisthitā। śayanāṃ vāmapādantu lambityaṃ savyapādakam।
