It is a summery of the purport of the four veda-s. 'a' side of the small leaf before fly-leaf contains caturveetatātṟpariya caṅkirakam; 'a' side of the fly-leaf contains the expression ca-tāṟpīriyacaṅkirakam (desired over the leaf as white letters against blak backgraound. 'b' side of the last leaf contains the expression taṟpiriya caṅkirakam designed over the leaf as white letters against black background. The date of copying the work is 1055 varu. vaikācimā 10dt
