This transcript is copied from a MS belonging to the French Institute of Pondicherry with No. RE 20847. There are five extra pages in the beginning, of which the first four pages record the contents and the fifth page gives the title. There are two different portion of mānasāra has been keept in this bundle. First portion is in 80 chapters and second portion is in 14 chapters. In this text chapter 9 is not included. Two chapters have colophons that describe them as tṛtīyapaṭala and dvādaśapaṭala. The last chapter adhiṣṭhānavidhi is incomplete which could be the fifteenth chapter. Page 552 to 554 are written in Tamil and Sanskrit, which reads rāmacarita
