Miscellaneous Notes
This text contains 5 śloka-s in praise of goddess mīnākṣī at madura. The printed edition (BR I. 1965 No. 264) gives the name of śaṃkarācārya as its author. This text contains at the beginning (fol. 1a and b left half) a śloka in praise of vināyaka which does not form part of this śtotra; it is written in the Grantha script, while the stotra which begins on the right half of fol. 1b is in Telugu. The śloka-s are not in the order as found in the printed edition. There are slight difference in the readings. A śloka is added at the end which does not form part of the stotra and which is found at the beginning of the Adyar Ms. No. 323 DC stotras II
