This text contains prayer for devī. In the text which we have here the śloka 5 and 6 are different from what they are in the printed edition and the general order of the 9 śloka is also different; it runs as follows: (5), (6), 1, 3, 2, 8, 4, 9, 7. The two śloka-s at the begining are found in Adyar (DC. Stotras II no. 250) and the first in Tanjore (DC. Ms. no. 19981
