This text contains 10 names of salutation to subrahmaṇya and his 9 attendant deities. A few śloka-s of prayer are adreesed to him. There are the names of 9 attendant deities of subrahmaṇya. 9 gems such as padmarāga (ruby etc.) fell from the anklet of the goddess out of which 9 daughters were born. Each of them gave birth to a son who became attendants of subrahmaṇya. So each word of salutation begins with the name of one or the other precious stone. This appears to be a rare text
