This text contains the procedure for the worship of goddess gaurī. It is stated at the beginning that the worship is to be begun on the day of the star mūla and concluded on the day of the star śaravaṇa in the month of aśvayuj (September-October). The colophon calls this as lakṣmīpūjāvidhi. This is a rare text, perhaps a manual for the priests

śṛṇu pārvati vakṣyāmi bhāratīpūjanaṃ mahat। āśvayukmāsi saṃprāpte śuklapakṣe dine śubhe। mūlādau pūjayeddevīṃ śravaṇānte visarjayet। śucirbhūtvā mahādevi dantadhāvanapūrvakaṃ nadyāntaṭāke kūpe vā snānaṃ kṛtvā tu mantrataḥ। devān pitṛṃśca saṃtarpya ṛṣīṃśca susamāhitaḥ॥
