Miscellaneous Notes
This text lays down the procedure for worshipping the pavilion of devī. This maṇṭapa is also called śaktimaṇṭapa (IFI.T.41.Part VII) and gaurīmaṇṭapa (IFI.T.1075) pp.134-165. It is stated to form part of the kāmikāgama. T.534-pp.1-66 is from Devīkālottara, and there are Mss. T.349-pp.179-204 and T.680, pp.1-18 which treat this topic. The text under notice does not have agreement with any of these. The text hast lost the beginning portion

bahir īśānyāṃ yathāvadvihiraṃ paścimānanaṃ madhyavedikaṃ navapañcaikakuṇḍaṃ vidhāya vidhānādibhir alaṃkṛtya darbhamālātoraṇacatuṣṭayopetaṃ yāgamaṇṭapam upagamya puṇyāhaprokṣaṇaṃ kṛtvā vedikāyāṃ pūrvasyām āgneyyāṃ vastuyajanahavanaparyagnikaraṇāni vidhāya snātvā punaḥ puṇyāhañ ca vidhāya kṛtasakalīkaraṇaḥ sāmānyārghyam astreṇa saṃkalpya śakrānaladiśormadhye nityavacchivasūryaṃ saṃpūjya pūrvāditoraṇānyastreṇa saṃprokṣya।
