rākṣasānāṃ tu bhaktānāṃ viśeṣāt nṛttamūrtinaḥ। aprakāśārtham uddiṣṭaṃ kavacaṃ kṛṣṇagandhakam। iti kāraṇe। ānandāyatanaṃ loke dṛṣṭiṃ guptatarāgatam। tasmād andarūpatvāt kavacaṃ kṛṣṇam eva ca।

kṛttikādīpataḥ paścāt dvāviṃśad divase tathā। ṣaṣṭi[ṭh]yukte viyukte vā śatatāre samācaret। iti kāraṇe mārgaśirṣaṣṭi[ṭh]śatatāranakṣatravināyakapūjāvidhipaṭalaḥ।
