This text contains devīkavaca, stated in the colophon on fol. 143b as composed by brahmā. GOML.D. 6427 agrees with this at the end is, according to the colophon, taken from brahmavaivartapurāṇa. The contents of the text under notice differ from the version in the printed edition of the brahmavaivarta (also kaivarta) purāṇa I (Jīvānanda Vidyāsāgara, Calcutta 1888, ch. 39)and in the Aanandāśrama edn. I ch. 39. GOML.D. 6267-6275 contain the narrations of this kavaca by brahmā and the Ms. under notice has much in common with these which are called caṇḍikādevīkavaca. This is identical with the caṇḍīkavaca except for the beginning portion
