Sarpaśāntividhi

this text contains a list of materials requried for doing sarpaśānti and also the procedure for doing the śānti. The former is written in maṇipravāla and the latter in sanskrit. The treatment of the former should have been elaborate. The treatment given is almost the same with that found in pp. 12 to 18 of śāntikusumākara (pūrvabhāga), Grantha - published at kumbakoṇa in 1935. The matter from p. 13, 1.7 to p. 15, 1.9 of the printed text is not found in the ms. The mantra-s for doing the homa that are contained in pp. 16 and 17 are given at the end in fol. 204-205 and that too in brief. According to the colophon on fol. 206b, thistopic is dealt with in the 21st chapter of the śaunakasaṃhitā. The name saṃkhanācāryapaddhati indicates that one śaṅkhanācārya made one digest on this subject following the śaunakasaṃhitā
